Since our last post of 21 June 2015,  on 25 June 2015 the Fair Work Commission handed down its decision on the Unfair Dismissal claim we conducted over the course of a whole day on 17 June 2015.

Our client won!

The Commission found that the dismissal of our client was harsh and made a compensation order in favour of our client.

As the case involved an employer with less than 15 employees, in these circumstances, it is even harder to establish that a dismissal has been unfair. Despite this, that harder test was made out and our client was VERY happy.
